Park was nice and sunny with dog park and swimming pool. Enjoyed my stay and won't hesitate to go back.

Good overnight stop, not fancy, but works well. Water has minerals, so do not fill up there. Bring bottle water or fill up elsewhere. That is the only thing that reduces rating. They do have good bathrooms, showers, and laundry facilities. As I said, good stopover place. We liked it. And they are Broncos fands, and military supporter. Good people!

Stayed here for the second year in a row. Hope to have many more visits. I can't say enough good about the resort and the owners. Nancy is Always friendly and makes time for everyone no matter how busy she is. Everything is clean and organized. Beautiful view of the mountains and wildlife outside your window. It's central to so many wonderful places you will want to visit. Recommend Haggards to everyone who needs a break, you will love it. Hope to see you next year Nancy!!!

Owners are very nice and will go out of their way to help you out or guide you to any of the nearby points of interest.

What looks like it would just be a regular campground that is blah turned out to be beautiful and the people I met were outstandingly sweet and friendly. If I pass through here again I would most definitely plan to stay here. Only thing I didn't get to do was use the pool(my doing considering she said she would open it for me if I wanted). But the place has great views, no noise and I had a relaxing evening. And the rates... same as lake Pueblo but way more amenities... nice baths, laundry, dog corral... things to make life more comfortable. Thank you to the owners

This is great campground with about 50 sites, a combination of no hook ups to full hooks. Roads in the park are easy to navigate. Sites are gravel and pull through, some have a patch of grass. All are level and about average width and long enough for our 37' RV and tow-dolly with room to park the car. We were in site B4. The hookups were normal with no problems. The water is well water and per the owners suggestion we used bottle water for drinking. Even though it is right on Hwy 50 it is very quite. There is a pool, a nice walking path around the perimeter of the park and a huge dog park. The views are nice and the park is very clean as is the laundry and bathrooms. The owner is super friendly and check in was a breeze and she even called to say good-bye after we left as she missed us before we pulled out. We visited Bishops Castle, Pikes Peak, Colorado Springs and Pueblo. WiFi was good and our Verizon signal was strong. We stayed June 27-July3, 2017 and paid $28.00 a night with a military discount.
